Author Information

Margaret F. Steig (Dalton) is a professor in the University of Alabama School of Library and Information Studies. She is the author of Change and Challenge in Library and Information Science Education, written with a grant from the Council on Library Resources, and Public Libraries in Nazi Germany, for which she received the first Fraenkel Prize in Contemporary History. She has also been the recipient of a University of Alabama Burnum Distinguished Faculty Award and the ALISE Award for Professional Contribution to Library and Information Science Education.
