Author Information

Andrei Schiller-Chan is a voice coach and the author of The Orator's Odyssey. A Master's graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, his work applies anatomy, econometrics, and polyvagal theory to the study of vocal performance. He specialises in how the body reacts to high-pressure environments, a subject he writes on regularly.Andrei's methodology was developed through his work with wrongfully convicted prisoners, aiming to restore vocal agency in restrictive environments. He is also a certified boxing coach and a retired Amateur State Boxer. Mentored by WBO/WBC Champion Pradeep Singh, Andrei draws on his athletic background to help speakers overcome physical tension and fatigue.Born in Australia, he currently lives and works in London as a Lead Engineer at Moneybox, one of the UK's leading fintechs. You'll find him training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the evening, or enjoying a coffee at his local cafe, Allpress, Dalston.
