Marlene's thirty-year career includes teaching pre-school, elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate classes in art education. The author's unique and inclusive viewpoint reflects her experience in urban, rural, and suburban schools in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. PRISM, the Pittsburgh Research-Based Instructional Supervisory Model, was instrumental in forming the author's theory and practice while teaching at Brookline Elementary Teacher Center in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition, Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District in Ohio and the Janesville School District in Wisconsin provided her the opportunities to develop Advanced Placement Studio Art and History of Art curricula.
