In a world of fantasies, things that are not real, it is refreshing to explore a theme of love where a woman feels like the spotlight for one or more men, who are charming or desirable, in the sense that they are aesthetic to look at or pleasing to be around. My writings stem from my deep-rooted desire to feel special in my personal relationships with men I am dating or in love with. This may seem like just another story about a magic school, but it so much more than that to me, because the female characters are strong main characters, and not damsels in distress or lost, ditzy princesses that are attacked, victimised or humiliated until a man saves them. This book series is made for people who want to read about fantasy, mystery, problem solving and female characters that are not support characters. For example, the town is named after the founder and her next of kin keep her surname, despite marriage and regardless of gender. This means her children and grandchildren's surnames will always be Klausen. The university is named after her as well. Maibritt is the founding mother of Maibritt Town and Maibritt Klausen Academy.
