"When Sylvester Stallone released his film ""Rocky"" in 1976, he had no idea the impact it would have on two Canadian kids. Jamie Pagendam spent his whole youth striving for athletic excellence. His competitive drive, and a desire to follow in his older brother Steve's footsteps, lead him to the brutal sport of boxing. Despite the trials Jamie faced in both boxing and life, his determination, tenacity and self confidence carried him to a spot at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.
