Louise Wisechild is the author of two memoirs The Obsidian Mirror and The Mother I Carry. Her work has appeared in several anthologies, including The Sweet Breathing of Plants and A Woman Alone, and in publications including The Christian Science Monitor and the Seattle Times. She is currently working on a collection of travel writing. She lives in Vashon, Washington.
