Book 4 in the Twins of Legend series by Jordan Hawkey. Set in a fantasy world inhabited by a myriad of animals such as meerkats, snakes, and badgers. This book has a dyslexic friendly layout with a larger and clearer font, as well as bigger spacing. This also makes this series excellent as an entry novel for readers moving on from picture books, with the layout helping the reader progress through the pages quicker to help build up reading confidence. While targeted at young readers aged 8-14, the content of the novel still engages readers of all ages. Everyone is in danger, as King Mirthrid continues to hunt Pan and Samson. Surrounded by foes and more forces of magic than they know, the twins must find a way to defeat the tyrant king before it's too late. Meanwhile, Autumn and the Resistance struggle to help allies in Camwinn, the underground badger city. Fortunately, they are aided by new friends, who not long ago were enemies. Will they all find their way back together? And will they find a way to defeat Mirthrid?
