Overview

Under the cloak of darkness, a German U-boat journeys perilously across the war-torn Atlantic to deliver four spies to the eastern shore of America. Their mission--to steal and then sabotage one of America's most guarded and destructive pieces of military hardware, the deadly accurate Norden bombsight. The Third Reich's plans get off to a rocky start, nearly collapsing at America's shores. Nonetheless, the German spies adjust and modify their mission and succeed in infiltrating their target. American military intelligence discovers their arrival and dogs the German spies, doing everything possible to stop them before damage can be done. Romance, intrigue, and betrayal are all part of this story. Ruthlessness, dubious loyalties, and a conversion of alliances occur in this cat-and-mouse game between the efficient German spies and the US military.
