Overview

Written in an informal, direct style for professionals without a training delivery background, THE NON-TRAINER'S GUIDE TO TRAINING examines specific techniques for handling situations that frequently arise in training, such as how to deal with poor listeners and challenging personalities. It provides ample, focused examples of techniques that a trainer can use to facilitate learning through participant involvement, strategies for training adult learners, presentation and listening skills, delivery methods, and group and team communication in training situations. Each topical category includes a section with plenty of references for those who seek additional information resources.
