They have run their own coven since 2003 and have trained numerous other people in Wicca. They have a degree in Psychology from the University of Lancaster and an MA in Contemporary Religions and Spiritualities from Bath Spa University, where they researched queer spirituality in Paganism and Christianity, dual-faith syncretism, and Pagan attitudes to science. They have written several other books about Paganism, folklore, mythology, and inclusive Wicca. Being bisexual and nonbinary has led to their interest in promoting and developing inclusive Wicca.
