She was inspired to create this story after witnessing the suspicious death of an old deaf man. SAUNDRA SHOHEN was administrator of the Emergency Dept. at Roosevelt Hospital. The last chapter in her book EMERGENCY! (published by St. Martin's Press) titled The Death of John Lennon is the inspiration for this mystery.
