Armando Brignolo was born in Asti on 12 March 1937. He is a journalist who has collaborated for more than twenty years with the daily newspaper La Stampa from its Asti editorial office covering visual arts, music and local history. Salvatore Giannella is a journalist who has lived and worked in Milan since 1975. He was a reporter for L'Europeo (which he also edited) and editor of the monthlies Genius and Airone, one of the largest post-war editorial successes. From 2000 to 2007 he edited the culture and science pages of the weekly Oggi. He wrote the screenplay for the RAI film La lista di Pasquale Rotondi which in 2005 won the Presindenza della Republica award as 'Best film dedicated to italian art' at Rome's Art Doc Film Festival. He created and has coordinated the annual art rescuer awards, Premio Rotondi.
