The Nexus of Black-On-Black Crime, Vol. 1: Is it Genes, Intergenerational Trauma and/or Social Expectations?

Overview

"The purpose of this volume 1 of 2 in this book is to unravel the linkage between intra-racial crime and violence among African-Americans and its nature or intrinsic and nurture or extrinsic causes. The biological (genetic) factors are examined and weighed against environmental factors learned from society and way of life, imposed and/or chosen. Other factors like proximity between victims and perpetuators are weighed. Assessments are made on whether the crime and violence imposed on blacks by blacks is significantly more threatening to society than white-on-white crime. Race is perused as a factor in black crime and violence. Distinctions are made between blue- and white-collar crimes and socioeconomic factors and values. The role of intergenerational trauma experienced from systemic and implicit racial bias and animus is perused. The impact of self-hatred and ""Stockholm Syndrome"" are weighed as a factor in predatory attitudes towards blacks by blacks. The linkage to conservative politics in violation of the interest of one's own race, family, and community is assessed. In addition to the generational and societal predilection to commit black-on-black crime, the drug trade and its destructive consequences are examined as a ""War on Blacks."" The examination takes this volume to the stairway of where drugs and guns are financed and imported into black communities. In its poorest communities, this dilemma is taken in context to the drug trade being the most viable but illegal business and employer where employment and income is extremely scarce."
