Table of ContentsReviewsWith her new book, 'The Newsphere', Christine M. Tracy has provided a progressive take on the medium of the news by tapping into two related veins - media ecology and the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin. Her treatment of the news is both new and newsworthy. (Robert K. Logan, Professor Emeritus of Physics, University of Toronto, and Chief Scientist of The Strategic Innovation Lab, Ontario College of Art and Design) Christine M. Tracy's 'The Newsphere' is media ecology for the 99%. She provides the context and the tools for citizens to make news while making sense of the news. In an era of media consolidation, blatant propaganda masquerading as news, and the collapse of conventional newsonomics, Tracy gives readers the concepts they need to be brighter lights in the media firmament.
