Dr. Violet T. Adams is an award-winning educator, author, speaker, and mental health advocate with over 30 years of experience in English Language Arts instruction, curriculum development, and youth empowerment. As the CEO of Masomo Group Consulting, she equips schools and communities with culturally responsive mental wellness training and behavior support strategies. Antoine Gibson is a professional musician, global speaker, and passionate advocate for Type 1 Diabetes awareness. Diagnosed at age eight, Antoine faced serious health challenges including epilepsy and extreme hypoglycemia. With the support of his family, faith, and a new love for music, he turned adversity into action.He served as drum major of the Stephenson High School Marching Jaguars and earned a full academic and music scholarship to Florida A&M University. As a principal performer with the Marching 100, he toured nationally and performed a solo at Carnegie Hall.Driven to help others, Antoine founded a nonprofit organization focused on diabetes education and supply distribution. Through this work, he traveled to Africa to deliver insulin and resources to underserved youth living with Type 1 Diabetes. He also completed the New York City Marathon and hiked the mountains of Newfoundland, Canada, to raise awareness for diabetes-related causes.Antoine continues to perform across the country while serving as a mentor at diabetes camps and health events, using his story to uplift and empower others living with chronic conditions.
