Jennifer R. Denetdale is a citizen of the Navajo Nation. She is a professor and chair of American Studies at the University of New Mexico. She is originally from Tohatchi, NM. She is the author of Reclaiming Diné History: The Legacies of Navajo Chief Manuelito and Juanita, and two Navajo histories for young adults. She has published numerous articles and essays.
