OverviewThis family history explores the ancestry of the Wagenbach and Wiegand families. The book traces the origins of these families in Germany, among Amish Mennonites in Switzerland and France, and in Puritan England, culminating in the emigration of the two families to the United States. The book then continues to follow the evolution of the two families up to the present. In each of these phases, members of the Wagenbach and Wiegand families adhered to nonconformist religious traditions that set them apart from their contemporaries and exemplified the biblical notion that ""narrow is the path which leadeth onto life and few there be that find it."" My goal is to provide future generations of these families with an accurate and inspiring understanding of their past.
