Author Information

Kim Howard is the author of Do Mommies Ever Sleep (LBYR, 2024), which Kirkus lauded as ""gently humorous,"" and Grace and Box (Feiwel & Friends, 2021). A former teacher, she lives in Bloomington, Indiana with her husband and children. Jaime Kim is an award-winning illustrator of numerous children's books. Her debut, Take Heart, My Child, written by Ainsley Earhardt, was a #1 New York Times Bestseller. In addition, her art for Mommy's Hometown, written by Hope Lim, was selected for the 2022 Society of Illustrators' Original Art Show. Her previous titles include La La La by Kate DiCamillo, Night on the Sand by Monica Mayper, and The Goblin Twins by Frances Cha, all of which received starred reviews.
