Author InformationJudie Ney taught in public and private schools for thirty-five years. Those years generated a continuing interest in the value of stimulating creative and critical thinking in an interactive classroom. The classroom experiences led to her two books on writing tips. Besides teaching, she has relished the public libraries where she has been both patron and employee in Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Augustine, Florida. She met coauthor Sharon Zeller Clark in St. Augustine. Judie's active participation in Friends of the Library, her writing group (Pen Pals), and the popular St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park inspired this book. Sharon Zeller Clark wrote her first story when she was in the fourth grade; it was handwritten and contained no punctuation. No copy of said story exists except in memory. Many years later Sharon became the editor of a weekly newspaper in rural northwest Ohio. Years after that she relocated to St. Augustine, Florida, and joined forces with coauthor Judie Ney to write and publish their first book. Sharon continues to write and is a member of a small writing group. She also volunteers at her local library and is a docent at the historic Lightner Museum in St. Augustine. Bernadette Januska is a recent design graduate from Flagler College, and is pursuing a career in UX/UI design. Beyond a world of computer screens and lines of code, she spends her time doodling, illustrating, and cooking experimental curries. There is not a day she is seen without a pencil and paper, ready to jot down notes or store a precious leaf from a morning walk. Her dream is to become a ceramicist and incorporate her illustrative style onto another medium. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
