Overview

When baby Noah vanishes from his cot in the dead of night, suspicion falls on Vikram, his mother’s boyfriend. Wendy was born and brought up in the South of England, and spent twenty-six years of her adult life living in the Salisbury area, where her books are set. Salisbury is a city close to her heart and she regularly visits family and friends there. She is now retired following a varied career in nursing, teaching and youth work, as well as having spent eleven years in France running a B&B and teaching English as a Foreign Language. Now living near Newcastle upon Tyne, Wendy lives with her husband and two cats. When she's not writing, she enjoys visiting National Trust properties, singing with a community choir, reading crime books, and spending time with her family.
