Overview

""The Music of Molecules"" is a novel that could be placed in the realm of fantasy and science fiction, as well as the works of George Gamow. It is about elves and fairies, witches and conspiracies to hijack the world's beautiful classical music. There is a mystery to be solved: how to compose music from the smallest possible universe and thus break the spell that prevents us from hearing the symphonies, concertos, and operas of the most famous classical composers. In the narrative, after much effort, the key to the riddle is discovered and the goal of the characters who fight to preserve the beauty of classical music is to strive to obtain music from the smallest universe, that of molecules, those molecules that vibrate, with each particular vibration being translated into a musical note. The text, full of fantasy and magic, teaches how to obtain music from the smallest universe. The plot idea was inspired by Steve Spielberg's movie ""Close Encounters of the Third Class"", in which communication with highly intelligent alien beings is done through musical notes. In fact, despite its impact, the idea had no scientific basis. According to the author, if there were extraterrestrial beings of advanced intelligence, the appropriate language would be the musical notes produced by organic matter, which they would undoubtedly know very well. Molecules, molecules that vibrate and each vibration translates into a musical note, it is a language that could expand beyond our galaxy. The narrative teaches how to obtain this music from the smallest universe, in the fullness of its infinity.
