Overview

The Psalms remain one of the most priceless treasures that God offers to man in his word. These poems not only express the deepest longing of the human heart, they are a source of instruction for the wise, as well as a stern warning for the fool: God will judge between the righteous and the wicked. And as God speaks to us through the mysteries of poetic language, he points forward to the one who will come: his Anointed King and the Righteous Judge-the only-begotten Son of God who will make a way for wicked men to be reconciled to him.
