Overview

When Wolfgang Mozart and his wife Constanze arrive in Prague to oversee rehearsals of his brand-new opera Don Giovanni, they are welcomed with open arms. But Wolfgang is inspired to pull one of his famous practical jokes, which sets off a landslide disasters. All jokes are on him as he becomes the prime suspect in a mysterious death. Locked up by his patron until he either confesses to murder or composes the opera's missing overture, challenged to a duel by his leading man, and implicated in a second death, Mozart loses what is left of his good humor. Constanze must use all her wits to save her husband and his opera; and to unravel the tangled threads of evil and deceit that threaten them both.
