Overview

All believers, whatever denomination they belong to, practice the Lord's Supper and understand its importance and what it signifies. However, the enemy has stolen the awareness of how powerful the practice of this rite is and how important it is as a weapon in our struggle with the darkness. Believers have been content to practice this rite simply as a memorial of God's love, which was displayed on the cross - in other words in the context of worship. Whenever we practice it, we are grateful and thank God for his grace, and grasp once again that we have a message to deliver concerning the death of the Lord until he comes again. However, the Lord's Table is also important in intercession, as well as being the most powerful weapon in spiritual warfare. This latter aspect is the one that I will focus on in this book, the Breaking of Bread as a weapon, because it is already being used on a regular (and sometimes routine) basis in worship and intercession in the church.
