Overview

The rising interest in goddess spirituality expresses our current need to understand the feminine side of God, the Sophia (or Divine Wisdom), and her relationship to the masculine aspects of God. Rev. Carol E. Parrish-Harra, PhD, long known as a ""practical mystic,"" is the founder of Sparrow Hawk Village, an intentional community located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, a small settlement in the Ozarks. She currently serves as Bishop at The Chapel of Christ Sophia, which is affiliated with the Ascension Alliance, part of the independent Catholic movement, and Dean Emeritus of Sancta Sophia Seminary, a modern-day mystery school.
