OverviewThis is a delightful collection of stories with morals to learn from and fun for all ages. Some are funny poems like The Underpants Monster, Learn While You Read and It Rolled Away. There are six stories about animals: Ingrid is an Ibex that is afraid of heights; Sugar Shoebill finds a way around bullying; Tamara the unhappy toad learns to be happy with herself just as she is; Gomer Goose learns about making bad decisions; Yentl and Yancy are seahorses who have a very narrow escape; and Bradley the Barn Owl is a very wise elder. Another story is about Silas Sycamore who always wanted to be a tree. My favorite story is about the moon. The moon was hungry and he ate up all the stars, he even ate Pluto, but he couldn't eat Mars. That is because Mars is bigger than the moon.
