To forget about the worries, he trained daily at the basketball court. In 1996, he was awarded the number one position in Enugu state basketball competition. After secondary school, he had a rethink about his studies and embraced it once more. From the Department of Archaeology and Tourism, University of Nigeria, he obtained the first degree in 2005, and the master's degree in 2009.
