Overview17 BCE. an astonishingly serene period of peace had persisted for decades in ancient Magna Germania before, suddenly, devastation made itself known. A swarm of hulking invaders dubbed ""The Greys, "" extraordinarily tall and muscular enemies speaking in Latin, ferociously violent and adamant to conquer across a span of a thousand miles, swept through the land. Very few survivors escaped across the River Elbe to the Isles of Britannia, landing at the Highlands as refugees. Bestowing pity and respite, the Pictish tribes of the Highlands assigned one of their own to absorb adequate understanding of the Germanic dialect to exchange succinct information. A whittler's daughter named Ciorstaidh (pronounced Kirsty), delegated the task of interpretation, adopted the smallest of the refugees into her home-Liufrit, a sinewy ginger-haired maiden of the same age; tiny and frail, recuperating under the Pict's warmth and support. With painstakingly established congruence, the Picts learned of the evil conquest taking place across the faraway lands. Fearing the invasion might reach the Highland soil, the settlement's chief sent Ciorstaidh and Liufrit to request guidance from a revered mystical druid. Guiding them to a colossal monolith situated over the darker side of the nearby mountain, an abrupt arc of megalophobia incited fear at the sight of the massive ambiguous object, whereupon unknown deities were awoken. A warrior from the rock emerged-hulking, eleven feet tall, armoured in strange blackened plate. The giant travelled eastward, mute, indifferent and unstoppable. The two young protagonists cautiously followed in his wake, enduring the hardships of survival through the elements, violence, and reciprocity. As the armoured warrior wrought retribution across the many outposts of the Greys, conflicts-both severe and folderol-unfolded between the daughters of different lands, all the while they followed behind the giant, impetuously carrying out seraphic justice. In a twist of ancient mythology and little-known reverberations etched across the lands, a tale of an armoured giant shone as a magnificent rhapsody-one who inadvertently became humanity's saviour in a whirlwind of unbelievable retribution and death.
