Overview

Pellendell the magician and his companions have been betrayed by one of their own and have lost their home and all their treasure. Bitterness lingers in the minds of most, but Pellendell only wishes to put the matter behind him, he had been too trusting. Once seven in number they are now six, that is until Arquaine, a beautiful young princess from a distant land, joins the adventurers' ranks. She is an aspiring magician and is dazzled by Pellendell's wealth of spells and she is convinced that he is a wizard and she seeks to become his pupil. Differing alignments and secrets will test the adventurers' unity but then disaster strikes them: one is killed and another's life will hang in the balance. Now they will all be tested to their limits to trust and protect each other.
