Overview

The October 2024 revision of the British Army's website carried the headnote 'The Army The Nation Needs: Protecting the United Kingdom and helping it prosper by fighting and winning our battles from the land'. Volume 2 of Modern British Army seeks to examine the current state of Britain's ability to fight and sustain a conventional land war in the immediate future.
