Neli is a working mother of two and lives in Chicago with her husband, twin boys and dog. She holds a bachelor's in business from the University of Miami and a Master's in communication from Northwestern university. At times, like Anatole France once said she still . ..prefers the folly of enthusiasm to the indifference of wisdom. While searching for stories featuring twins of color (or any twins really) to read to her sons she realized the limited number of options available. This prompted her to write a series of children's books based on her biracial twins. She hopes her sons and other children will read The Mismatched Twins series and see themselves reflected in the stories. Thad is an actor and illustrator currently residing in Chicago. He holds a certificate in illustration from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a bachelor's in theater from Northwestern University. He won 2nd Place in the 2015 Historic Irvington's Halloween Poster Design contest and has been a featured artist in Talenthouse Media. He is an uncle to three nephews and two nieces and a surrogate uncle to many more.
