Yvonne D. Baku is a Ghanaian-born author and resilient survivor whose life experiences inspire and encourage others. Raised amidst challenging circumstances, Yvonne navigated foster homes, early loss, and personal hardships with determination and grace. After moving to the United States, she pursued a career in health sciences, worked in assisted living, and eventually served in the U.S. Navy, which provided stability and opportunities for her family. A cancer survivor, Yvonne now lives in Norfolk, Virginia, with her husband, Harry Edward Baku, and their two sons, Eli and Jude.
