Father Michael Kwatera has accomplished both of these tasks in the third edition of The Ministry of Communion. The reader will find new references, e.g. to the new General Instruction, and the updating and clarification of some terminology. For extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion Fr. Michael continues to offer both practical advice and a beautifully expressed spirituality for their ministry. Those entrusted with the formation of these ministers will discover seeds for the development of fruitful training sessions and spiritual reflection opportunities.Bea Callery, Director, Office of Lay Ministry, Diocese of Raleigh Author InformationMichael Kwatera, OSB, is a monk and director of liturgy for Saint John’s Abbey, Collegeville, Minnesota.
