The Editors: Gregg B. Walker is an associate professor of Speech Communication and Director of Peace Studies at Oregon State University. His research on conflict and dispute resolution has appeared in Mediation Quarterly, the Social Science Journal, and Argumentation and Advocacy. David A. Bella is Professor of Civil Engineering at Oregon State University. His research on peace-related issues has appeared in the Journal of Peace Research, Journal of Professional Issues in Engineering, and Technology and Society. Steven J.
