Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationEduardo González Sarría flew MiG-21s and MiG-23s during three tours of duty in Angola, and served as a MiG-23 squadron commander. After 26 years in the Cuban Air Force, he retired as a Lieutenant-Colonel, before writing two books on his experiences, in Spanish. Lionel Reid developed a fascination with military aviation from a young age. Qualifying as an SAAF pilot in 1985, he participated in the Angolan conflict from 1986-1989. He has spent five years researching this book. Sean Thackwray draws and paints aeroplanes. He flies them too – including Impalas and Cheetahs for the SAAF, then airliners, and now North American Harvards for the Flying Lions aerobatic team, in Johannesburg. This is the third book he has illustrated. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
