This book is a real tour de force. It provides an excellent, detailed and thought-provoking account of how and why metaphor use varies across different speakers and across languages. It provides interesting insights into the nature of creative metaphor and the relationship at it has with creative thinking more generally. A must-read for metaphor researchers and students.
