She studies how children's librarians engage with and support families and young children in the communities they serve. As a children's book editor at Scholastic, she edited and wrote dozens of books for children. Mills is co-author of Supercharged Storytimes: An Early Literacy Planning and Assessment Guide and co-editor of Create, Innovate, and Serve: A Radical Approach to Children's and Youth Programming. Her picture book, The Spooky Wheels on the Bus, was published in 2010. Ben Whitehouse is a character designer and children's book illustrator born and raised in Birmingham UK. At the moment, he lives in Germany with his wonderful partner, Yvonne, their beautiful son, Timmy, and their crazy border collie, Sparrow. As well as working as a character designer, Ben has also worked at Aardman features on Nick Park's latest film -- Early Man -- as an assistant animator.
