OverviewA medina is the historic district of old Arab towns that were spread throughout the Mediterranean coast of Africa, Turkey and Cyprus. They are often walled cities with very narrow roads. Some are still thriving areas today, while others like those in Spain have been lost to history. This volume collects the proceedings of the International Seminar The Mediterranean Medina that took place in the School of Architecture at Pescara from 17th to 19th of June 2004. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sponsored the Seminar. The publication of the Proceedings has been possible thanks to the co-financing of the MIUR, the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, for the year 2006.(Italian and English facing text) Full Product DetailsAuthor: Micara Ludovico , Ettore Vadini , Ettore VadiniPublisher: Gangemi Imprint: Gangemi Dimensions: Width: 29.80cm , Height: 3.80cm , Length: 21.00cm Weight: 1.538kg ISBN: 9788849216059ISBN 10: 884921605 Pages: 448 Publication Date: 08 April 2009 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Out of Stock Indefinitely Availability: In Print ![]() Limited stock is available.
