Overview

Maths sometimes looks scary, but it isn't! Trust me, you've got this! Maths in primary school isn't easy for everyone, especially Imani. For Imani it is just frustrating, scary, and a book with seven seals. In order to help Imani, her mother comes up with a brilliant and yummy idea, The Maths Pie, to take her daughter's fear of maths away, and show her that is actually isn't that bad and can even be quite easy. Read through till the end, as there is a surprise waiting for you. By the way: I, the author of this book, had a fear of maths, so rest assured you're not alone in this.

Author Information

Cornelia Wera Krueger was born in Heidelberg, Germany, but grew up all over the world, and was immersed into different languages and cultures, from early on. This has led to her being fluent in German, English, Russian, and Spanish. She gets her book ideas while going on long walks through nature. Currently she is studying International Relations at the University of London, and wrote The Maths Pie, which is her debut children's book, to help young readers to lose their fear of math, which she as well suffered from as a kid. She lives between London, Glasgow, and Heidelberg.
