Overview

Who exactly is She and why am I her? This and many other questions are answered throughout these pages. It is a symbiotic journey I have been on since I came into this world. I share my story with you not only so we can have compassion for one another but because I know my experiences are not isolated. Throughout The Masked Sequoia, we can Carpe Spero-Seize Hope together. I survived many of my dark times by learning to wear masks until those masks began to suffocate me, literally and figuratively. The Masked Sequoia is an epic quest to learn, not only, to love and trust others but, more importantly, myself. We will dive into heavy topics like body dysmorphia, childhood neglect and abuse, rape, domestic violence, grief and loss. However because of who I was created to be we will also dig into faith, joy, courage, resiliency and mindfulness. Join me, my Masked Sequoia and lets discover who She really is.
