Kurt Almqvist is President of the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit. Alastair Benn is a writer and deputy editor at Engelsberg Ideas. Mattias Hessérus is a historian and Director of Civilisation Studies at the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation. Adrian Wooldridge is The Economist’s political editor and writes the Bagehot column. He was educated at Oxford University, where he studied modern history at Balliol College and received a doctorate in philosophy from All Souls College. His books include The Wake-Up Call: Why the Pandemic Has Exposed the Weakness of the West, and How to Fix It, co-written with John Micklethwait. Francis Gavin är Giovanni Agnelli Distinguished Professor och chef för Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs vid Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
