Author Information

Mike G. Murphy has been writing for forty years. His first book, a fiction, The Jerusalem Blues Band, was released in January of 2015. The book is available for sale on Amazon. Murphy has written the sequel, titled The Man of Misplaced Destiny released on schedule and on the market in time for the 2016 holiday season. Mike G. studied voice at United States International University in San Diego California and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree from the University of Phoenix. Murphy was a lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for an Arizona original music rock band from 1982-1990. He was selected to be one of two lead singers for A Tribute to the WHO at Paradise Valley Community College in 2010 and with two more shows on June 8-9 2012 at the Desert Botanical Gardens and PVCC in Phoenix Arizona USA. In 2014, Murphy performed three shows as lead vocalist for The Music of 1976. The last nine years Murphy has participated as a lead crew member, in a volunteer capacity for the Phoenix Blues Society.
