Overview

The author's most popular works have been those in his seven-book Mammoth Slayer series. To date he has written more than eighty titles of several genres. The novels about the Mammoth Slayers, however, have sold more than all of the others combined. Most of the reviews have been very positive, and he has received many Five-star ratings for not only the books about the Mammoth Slayers, but several of his other works. That is the reason for this book. The author gives some background into his love and study of nature and prehistoric life, both of wildlife and humans. He shares that in the book so the reader gets to know the author's inspiration and motivation in writing about a time that fascinates many. If any of his readers have enjoyed one or all of the books about the last clan of Neanderthals, I'm sure they will enjoy reading about the author and his thoughts in writing the series. This book also discusses a few of the criticisms the author has received about the series and he addresses them as well. No writer can please everyone, but this author has taken a few suggestions about his books from his readers and made them even better.
