Overview

The Second Half of the ""Chronicles of Michael and Calida"" Arc of ""The MAL Series,"" chronicling the relationship between the Prince of the Human Kingdom and the Princess of the Dragon Kingdom in the land of Hugoeldra. Book 16: The War of Michael and Calida Michael and Calida return to their Kingdom only to find themselves forced to return to the Other Side of the World once more. The stone they found seems to belong to a group of seven, and a mysterious new arrival urges them to travel across the Universe with him in search of the rest, all to prevent the emergence of a great evil who threatens existence itself. As they traverse the cosmos in their quest to assemble these shadowy ""Stones of Omnis,"" the party faces a variety of dangers, including ferocious dinosaurs, anthropomorphic animal warriors, and an omniscient narrator with a nigh-omnipotent hold over a monochrome world via a magical scroll. Book 17: The End of Michael and Calida Michael and Calida wage war against Waldius and Zaldius, conquering the Aldius Brothers' respective empires one fortress at a time in their quest to claim the two Stones of Omnis held by the familial pair of Dark Souls. After one of their friends betrays them, revealing himself as a villain from the past, the party follows the traitor to the lair of the infamous Mal, the Malevolent All-Powerful Liberator waiting for his perfect bride to return to him at last.
