Before his academic career, he was a media correspondent for German, Austrian and Swiss media in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine. Igor Lyubashenko is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. He obtained a PhD at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin for his thesis about the European Neighbourhood Policy towards Eastern European states.
