The Madnessof the Malcrudes

Overview

At its heart is the Malcrude bloodline-especially Victoria, Dondorale, Darkayta, and their chaotic orbit of friends, coworkers, and lovers-trying to live ordinary lives in Homer's Haven while being tied to an ancient legacy of curses, war, and monsters.By day, they stock shelves at the Mighty Mammoth, run online grocery orders, fight with managers and unloaders, hit the gym, and decompress over wings and sushi. By night (and on very bad lunch breaks), they're dealing with Slime Hound attacks, haunted mazes, corrupted sorcerers, and realms far beyond their own. The central villain, Malady Malcrude, begins as a terrifying undead sorcerer but is unexpectedly redeemed when three women and his first love break his curse with a mix of persuasion, emotional confrontation, and hard boundaries-only for a deeper threat to surface: Mortiana Malcrude and the cosmic manipulator Cosmosys moving pieces behind the scenes, culminating in the release of the vengeful Balarog aimed at Homer's Haven. The story balances comedy and heartbreak: messy relationships, miscommunication, Walmart-like retail chaos, pizza price arguments, and group chats collide with epic quests across realms, ancient mausoleums, and demonic battles. At its core, the series is about found family, generational trauma, second chances, and the way very normal people-cashiers, busboys, gym rats, single moms-end up standing between their world and annihilation, armed with nothing but sarcasm, perseverance, and each other.
