Overview

James Diarkis is a simple man, not one to get involved or go out of his way to make himself known to the world. He enjoys hobbies like driving sports cars, playing with model trains and cooking! When he's not by himself he spends his time with friends and family. James isn't your typical main character. In fact, he'd prefer to be nameless and in the background of every scene. Unfortunately, the continuity of life that James enjoys is not safe from the dangers of Mars, the world in which he currently resides. You see, millions of years ago Mars was inhabited by people and deities with enormous power. A simple man living a simple life is at the mercy of the powers that be, and whether James likes it or not . . . he is going to find himself at the forefront of events that will change Mars forever. And in the process, he might discover that the role of background character doesn't suit him after all . . .

Hello! My name is Thomas Michael Wood (T. M. Wood sounds cooler) and I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm a natural born creative soul, a father, a driver of . . . vehicles big and small and I spend most of my time creating media to share with the world. Well, now I get to introduce you to an idea I've been wanting to manifest for years. You see, when I was in high school I had a moment during one of many routine physics lessons. This moment was like an epiphany, like when Doc Brown hit his head and invented time travel! I finally had an idea that felt original enough to pursue and develop into a story. Better yet, when I pitched the idea to my father he really liked it and that meant a lot because he's one of the smartest people I know.After a few rewrites, several story edits, changes to characters and myself surviving a car accident or two... I finally have a story that I am proud of and have sufficiently poured my own soul into. If you pay close attention you'll notice themes that are very important to me. Doing your duty, being passionate about your endeavours and fighting as hard as you can to build a legacy worthy of celebration. I have privately known Aioven and his fellow characters for years, now I get to introduce them to you.
