Overview

In the land of j'Tahweh, the God King of the Walled City has a request: ""Find the Lost Temple and fetch from there the Rod of the First."" Recruited for this journey are three men, each having a personal reason for being a part of it. Our narrator is a Makeezi apprentice scribe who is a loyal servant to the God King. Completion of this mission, it has been agreed, will allow a Beltok farm labourer to marry his beloved. And the third is a Talgrine Mercenary who just wants to find a little fame and gold. If these three do not get along, they may not survive what awaits them. Not easy will it be to find the Lost Temple. For it is somewhere within the massive desert of j'Zambah. The further they go in pursuit of this quest, the greater the perils they face. 40k words; 155 pages.
