Overview

A study on the doctrine of discipline in relations to the selfish Christianity displayed in this modern day. Order is a design of God from creation itself and all he creates is ordered and continues in a fashion of order until he ends the order he began by ending the universe as we know it. Thusly, we see all that God is involved in has order and distinctive rules for engagement and resolution. Churches and her Christians today appear to run in disarray. Peoples in most churches are not united as they are commanded. Pastors are not encouraged to settle disputes within the body of Christ today. Most pastor call for outside help in reaching a commonality among her members and the biblical mandates for discipline are overlooked as a principle in today's Church. This study opens a look into Gods intended principles for directing the Church and its members for all earthly time. May it lead others into a renewed effort to perform daily according to His directives.

James R. Gass is a PAstor of over 32 years experience. HE has a Bachelors Degree in Theology and a Bachelor of Bible Sciences. HE has Been involved in Mission work both internationally and within the United States. His family is 5th generation master wood workers. James enjoys luthier projects including Cigar Box guitars, mandolins, Ukelelles, Dobros, and dulcimers. He often customizes and repairs guitars, both electric and accoustic. He is well founded in the Word and studies in the original languages of the Bible. Sound doctrine is always his format of studies. James has a wife of 38 years, Karen and 4 children: Gwenn, Jenny, Stephen, and Jonathan. For the past 4 years he has taught Carpentry at a local Community College in Louisiana. He remains at Sicily Island First Baptist Church where has been pastoring for the past 10 years.
