Dr. James Banks lives with his wife, Cari, and two teenagers in Durham, North Carolina, where he serves as the pastor of Peace Church. James has degrees from Westmont College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of ""Prayers for Prodigals ""and ""Praying the Prayers of the Bible."" His hobbies include bee keeping and running diesel cars on recycled vegetable oil.
